Mikhail Voskun is a Candidate of Chemical Sciences, founder of “Standartplast” company. He founded an entire industry of acoustic solutions in Russia on the basis of his own scientific attainments and knowledges in the acoustics field. The scientific approach has allowed to develop a small sphere of noise insulation to enormous scale. Up to this day, the scientific approach is the main component of the company and its main driving force.

He realized a number of global projects on architectural acoustics and sound insulation of air transport. There are sound insulation of presidential plane and helicopter, improvement of sound insulation in Sukhoi Superjet aircrafts, several high-level home theaters, and many others among these projects.

The Russian presidential limousine, the Aurus Senat, relies heavily on acoustic insulation materials manufactured by Standartplast (StP). Known in the industry for heavy-duty vibroacoustic engineering, the Russian company supplied advanced soundproofing and vibration-damping materials to quiet the 6.2-ton “rolling fortress”.
